KITC YOUTH BEIT MIDRASH with Rabbi Silberstein
In this program, classic Jewish texts are used as a springboard for discussions about Jewish values in contemporary life. Specific topics will be chosen with an eye to the individual interests of the students in the class, as well as subjects of general relevance to young Jews who are beginning to take ownership of their Jewish identities. Beyond any particular content knowledge, the goal for this class is for students to gain a comfort working with classical Jewish texts as well as an appreciation for the insights and values they contain. Ages 9 to 12.

Enrolling students are asked to make a commitment to the full course of 9 months.

There is no set fee for KITC full and associate member families, but a contribution to the General Fund or the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund is requested in the amount that your budget allows. Cost for non-members is $300/annual tuition for the first child, subsequent children in a family are $200/annually. Information on full and associate membership is here. If tuition costs are prohibitive to your family’s participation, please contact Rabbi Garth. Payments can be made by check and mailed to the KITC PO Box, or made online with “children’s class tuition” in the comments section of the payment form.
